Guides and basic usage
Basic text creation
To create new text use the New text button on the top toolbar. When you create a new text it's automatically set to editable mode. You can also edit a text by double clicking it, the cursor will move to the first character.
Use the Font panel to change the font of the selected text element.
Text styles
You can create really cool text styles just by playing with the filters and colors. In the image you can see some text with shadow filter applied (external and internal) and blurred text. I plan to add more filters and effects in the future.
Try setting the strength value of the shadow filter to 1, use the left/right keys if necessary. Then change the shadow blur values
Move, rotate and organize your elements
Move elements
You can move your elements by using the green handle that appears in the center of the selected element. In the picture you can see the handle for the left oval.
You can select an element by clickin it or by selecting it in the Layers panel (Useful when one element covers another).
Rotate elements
To rotate an element use the Rotate panel in the left toolbar. Make sure that the element you want to rotate is selected.
In the first version of the application you will have to use the slider control
Organizing the elements (Layers panel)
Use the Layers panel to organize your elements. The blue arrows can be used to change the order (move up or down) of each element. This is necessary if you want an element to be appear above other.
Background and element textures (Fun with patterns)
In the first version of TStyles, patterns can be applied to Shapes or set as the canvas Background. Just select the pattern and click the correct button (Set as Canvas background) or (Set as element background). The shape must be selected in order to apply a texture pattern to it.
In the next image you can see how to create a really simple but elegant button that looks like 3D. Show image
Creating Shapes
You can create triangles, rectangles or ovals with the Shapes panel
